Berk
I. Simple Past Tense Suffix: -dı, -di, -du, -dü, -tı, -ti, -tu, -tü
Gelmek: infinitive
Gel (Verb stem) + mek (infinitive suffix)
Geldi: past tense of gelmek
II. Plural Suffix: -lar, -ler
İnsan (noun) + lar (plural suffix)
III. Case Suffixes:
1. Dative case: -a/-e (to, towards)
Bar > bara : bar > to the bar
Antalya > Antalya'ya ("to Antalya", y: buffer letter)
2. Locative Case Suffix: -de, -da, -te, -ta (in, at, on)
Antalya > Antalya'da ("in Antalya")
3. Ablative Case Suffix: -den, -dan, -ten, -tan (from)
Bar > bardan ("from the bar")
4. Accusative Case Suffix: -ı, -i -u, -ü (from)
Accusative case is the direct object case. With transitive verbs we use the accusative case of objects.
otel > "oteli buldu"
bunlar > "bunları düşündü"
